WRITING ABOUT NATURE

Learn tips and tricks from a published wildlife writer, Darryl Jones

The joys and thoughts we get while being in nature can often inspire us to want to write it down. This can be personal or public. Best-selling author, writer and researcher Darryl Jones leads this workshop, discussing ways to capture your impressions.

Darryl is professor emeritus at Griffith University where he has been teaching and mentoring students for more than 30 years. He has written eight books including Mound-builders, Magpie Alert, The Birds At My Table and Curlews on Vulture Street. His latest, Getting to Know the Birds In Your Neighbourhood, has sold more than 10,000 copies and has been nominated as Best Illustrated Book for 2023.
