This exhibition and its theme pay tribute to Ian Fairweather, Bribie’s noted and enigmatic resident artist, in the year that marks the 50th anniversary of his passing.

With this exhibition we acknowledge the considerable contribution Fairweather made to the modern art movement in Australia.

Many of the works exhibited will be our interpretation of his philosophy, style, and the influences that his incredible journey through life had on his art.

Demonstrations of various printmaking techniques conducted by our members will be scheduled through the duration of the exhibition.
